Cultivation

1. One’s path (Dao) is one’s strongest blade (dao). Other weapons cannot compare

2. The Dao does not take action. Removing desire settles all disputes

3. The Dao is hidden and nameless

4. All things soften to achieve harmony. Submitting to yin is the way of the world

5. Having just enough of one’s needs curbs desire. Excess accumulation leads to one’s downfall

6. The experiences of the world drive us from the Dao.

7. To be imperfect is to be complete

8. To hold all of the Dao, one’s palm must stretch to the ends of the universe

9. None can claim ownership of others for all are equal under the heavens

10. The only thing to fear is straying from the path. What lies beyond is naught but distractions

11. Act as a reflection for the minds of others. Manipulation will steal away the world.

12. Greatness lies in placing oneself below.

13. All things come from the Dao

14. The Dao is the weakest of substances. It crumbles before the gentlest of touch

15. The Dao changes all it touches. None are bereft of desire

16. The Dao is grand like a flooding river

17. All things embrace yang. Softness is weakness without tempering.

18. The Dao provides for all who listen. There is no want while walking the path of Dao.

19. The Dao is to be experienced by embracing the world

20. The Dao is a perfect cycle. The only whole in existence

21. All that exists can be contained within a mustard seed

22. Practice impartiality and attain kingship. Kingship equates to heaven. Heaven forms Dao. The Dao is eternal.

23. The path is broad and winds unpredictably. The true path may be obscured while falsehoods and temptation shine bright

24. The sage brings order to chaos. Life is manipulation of existence

25. The sage will become great and all will know them.

26. All returns to the Dao.
